Which Swim Parka is right for you?

With both fleece or toweling options available, as well as some pretty unique sizing, it's really worth taking the time to make sure you get the right swim parka to suit your needs. This page contains information on uses and sizing to help you make the right choice. One thing you can be sure of is that you’ll use your swim parka a lot more than you think you will. It will live in your mesh bag and be a lifesaver on many a cold morning or chilly evening. Whatever you are doing, from camping trips to elite level sporting activity, be sure to pack your swim parka.

Size Guide

This sizing chart is approximate. Please note that the Chest Garment measurement is taken from one underarm to the other when the parka is zipped up and laid out on a flat surface. The garment is usually 10 cm bigger than the actual body measurements; this is for ease of movement and comfort.

What will be the main use for your Swim Parka?

It's a good idea to think about all the activities that you might end up using your swim parka for - from water polo tours, swimming galas, watching outdoor events, festivals and spectating, through to participating in cold, outdoor activities.

If you find yourself hanging around, waiting to participate or watching your kids, the extra warmth and protection that the polar fleece design offers may be what you need.

The polyester toweling inner can be great for this too of course.

However, if you mainly change for your sport as quickly as possible in a field or car park, or simply want to jump in the car and get home without changing, then the toweling design will offer warm, fast changing in any climate, and the polar fleece might not be necessary for you.

Things to Consider

If you intend drying off with a towel before putting on your parka and warmth is your # 1 priority then we suggest a polar fleece parka.

If however the first thing you reach for when you exist the pool is your parka - you definitely going to need a polyester toweling inner. This absorbs water and keeps you dry.
